Conference Room
Powering On and Off
Power on with the TV remote, and the Mac mini interface should come up. To power down, turn off the screen with the same remote. The Mac mini handles all duties for the conference room and should be the only connected device.
Note: The smart TV features should be deactivated, and the TV should not be connected to WiFi itself.
Interface
The Mac mini is controlled by a wireless keyboard and trackpad in a tray, and it behaves exactly like a typical Mac computer. To join a meeting or share a web link, you can email prettybird.conference@gmail.com. This account will be signed in, and its inbox can be accessed at gmail.com.
Audio
The TV's soundbar should automatically handle audio for the system. Volume can be controlled with the TV remote. The camera includes a basic microphone suitable for quick meetings with a single person in the room.
A bluetooth Anker device is the preferred solution for high quality conference audio. It should be available in the room in a small black square bag. Power it on by holding the power button, and it should automatically connect. Please double check in settings that "Anker Soundsync" is selected for the microphone.
Screen Sharing
Both Apple AirPlay and Chromecast should see "Conference Room" as an option if connected to the office WiFi. If it is not, please ensure that the app Reflector is running on the Mac mini.
Camera
A single conference webcam should automatically work for any web conferencing.
