Paychex PTO Request and Approval
Submitting a time off request through Paychex:
1. Go to the landing page on Paychex.
2. Find the "Time Off" box.
3. Click "View All" in the "Time Off" box.
4. Click the blue button that says "Request Time Off"
5. Select the type of time off: vacation, personal, or sick.
6. Select the date(s) you want to request and then input the amount of hours per day.
a. For full days, submit 8 hours. For half days, submit 4 hours.
7. Click "Submit" to finalize your request.
Approving a time off request through Paychex:
1. Go to Time & Attendance.
2. Select Time Off.
3. Under Pending Requests, select a request:
a. Review the information provided then either select Deny or Approve.
Admin Notifications:
1. Select the dropdown menu at the top right of the screen, next to your profile icon.
2. Go to User Preferences.
3. Make your selections under Admin notifications.
a. Please keep in mind that notifications will be sent to the email and phone number that was used to set up your Paychex Flex account.
